On Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the University of Maryland Police Department will host a Child Car Seat Check at the Pocomoke Building (7569 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, Maryland 20742).
This is a free service and is available to anyone. A certified child safety seat technician will assist you with installing and provide guidance on the proper use of your child safety seat.
For your car seat check, please bring your child (if born), the child safety seat with the manual, and the vehicle (if possible, with the vehicle owner’s manual) you want the seat installed in.
