Officers Recognized at Police Chiefs' Association Awards Ceremony

Last week six UMPD employees were recognized at the Police Chiefs’ Association of Prince George’s County Annual Awards Ceremony. Three earned county-wide recognition in the small agency category for the Chiefs' Association. We are extremely proud of you. Congratulations! Officers Graduate from DUI Institute

The University of Maryland Police Department Teams with Drug Enforcement Administration for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

College Park, MD – On Saturday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the University of Maryland Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will host DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at locations across the country. DEA and its partners will collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs.
